Motorists should avoid travel before 2pm tomorrow say Police and Highways England, as treacherous conditions continue on the roads.
The Met Office has warned of snow turning to freezing rain as temperatures remain below zero.
Driving conditions will be extremely dangerous as icy stretches form.
In South East Cornwall the A38 through the Glynn Valley is blocked both ways with stationary vehicles - and many other roads in the district have become impassable.
