PART of the main road between Liskeard and Callington is set to be shut every night for just over a week from tomorrow (Monday) as resurfacing work is carried out.

The A390 will be closed to traffic in two sections, from the Southern Road roundabout in Liskeard to Merrymeet, and from Merrymeet to St Ive, between the hours of 7pm and 6am each night during this period of works.

The road closure will come into force tomorrow (Monday, January 31) and the works are expected to be complete by Tuesday, February 8.Possible alternative routes include using the A38 to Saltash and then A388 via St Mellion to Callington.
