Upgrading the A38 to a proper expressway linking South East Cornwall with Plymouth, Exeter and the M5 is top of the wish-list for local businesses.

The South East Cornwall Collective Chambers of Commerce (SECCCC) has been asking businesses to agree a set of priorities for the district.

As well as identifying the need for a far better main road, the businesses also want investment in other specific infrastructure improvements, skills development, employment land and workspace.

These views will be put forward at an important open meeting in Liskeard Public Hall this evening at 6pm.
