The new Minister for Transport, John Hayes, is looking at the priorities for future safety works on the junctions along the A38 from Carkeel to Bodmin Parkway. Mr Hayes has been in contact with South East Cornwall MP Sheryll Murray about the priorities. Mrs Murray said that the junctions at Lean Quarry, near Liskeard, and Menheniot, should be the priorities for improvement and that the next priority should be the Bodmin Parkway junction. The junctions are accident blackspots.
