The East Cornwall Bach Choir will hold its first major concert of the 2023/2024 season, O Magnum Mysterium, at St Martin’s Church Liskeard.
The choir looks forward to performing the lovely mass of the Renaissance period ‘Missa O Magnum Mysterium’ by Tomàs Luis de Victoria. The programme will also include music by Willam Byrd and a programme of other Christmas music – plus an opportunity for the audience to join the choir in singing a selection of well-loved carols.
All are warmly welcome to this event, which promises to be a wonderful start to the celebration of Christmas. The concert will start at 7:30 pm, preceded by a pre-concert talk at 7 pm by the choir’s charismatic Musical Director, Simon Dunbavand.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for students (free for children 12 years and under). Refreshments will also be on sale during the interval.
To purchase your ticket, visit the East Cornwall Bach Choir website – tickets are also available from Liskeard Tourist Information Centre (contact 01579 349148) and on the door.
