Caradon Hockey Club junior section has held its presentation night for the 2015/16 season.
The junior section has just concluded one of its most successful seasons. With funding from Cornwall Sports Partnership and England Hockey, Caradon launched a recruitment drive earlier in the season which has resulted in a significant increase in participation and interest in hockey as the Olympics approach. The club has received a steady flow of enquiries from parents who are looking for competitive but safe sporting opportunities for their children.
The junior teams have competed in all the Cornwall County Hockey competitions this season and results have been very encouraging. The club anticipates further success next season as the players develop and hone their skills at weekly training sessions held at Lux Park on Wednesday evenings.
