DESPITE breaks of 33 and 30 from unbeaten Kevin Steed, he was St Cleer's only winner as they went down 4-1 to Torpoint Cons in the WH Bond Snooker League's Premier Division.
The result knocks them Saints off top spot, with St Dominick A reclaiming pole position thanks to a 4-1 success over Freathy.
Liskeard Cons A recorded a 4-1 victory over Looe C and, after playing few of their outstanding matches, have now moved off the bottom.
Essa Club – who, at one stage, were doing well at the top half of the table – now sit third from bottom after going down 4-1 to Dobwalls, while St Dominick B climbed into mid-table with a 4-1 win over Pelynt A.
Lanreath's grip on the Division One Runabout lasted just one match as they went down 3-2 to Pelynt B, while Looe D – with their second nap win a row – defeated Lerryn and now sit at the summit after last week's leaders, St Germans, were whitewashed by Pensilva.
