I WAS delighted to see a photograph of the very successful Pensilva team from the early 1950s (Cornish Times, January 4), as no fewer than five players in the picture are my uncles.

At the time the picture was taken, Harry Skews had retired from playing but continued as club secretary, which in today's parlance would be 'team manager'.
