The popular race series is to return to Siblyback Lake, near Liskeard, during the 2016/17 season.

Two race series, for both dinghies and windsurfers, will be hosted at the lake and will be open to both members and non-members.

The first race series will run on Sundays between October 31 and December 4 and the second series between February 5 and March 12, 2017.

Full ‘Notice of Race’ and ‘Sailing Instructions’ will be made available online at www. outdoorandactive.uk.com and entries can be made in advance through the centre or on the day.

Each day will consist of two 45-minute races using average lap times, so anyone in any boat or board can take part.

Phil Timings, head of Outdoor + Active for South West Lakes Trust, said: ‘Although we’ve had a strong Team 15 cohort in recent years, we are keen to show that we are passionate about racing and make sure that everyone in the area has a winter race series that they can compete in.’
