LISKEARD Panthers suffered a narrow defeat to their Camborne-based visitors at Lux Park, despite being the better team for much of the contest.

The home side went into the game positive and confident, and this reflected in their play.

With keeper Judith Grayston still unavailable due to injury, Sophie Thomas took up the role, working well with captain Lauren Finch in the shooting circle, while the Erin Beale took up her wing defence (WD) position.
