The highlight of last year’s Cornwall Grand Prix was the Cornish Marathon – organised by East Cornwall Harriers – the last race in the 2015 series.
As well as being a highlight for the competitors the race also raised money for several good causes – Cornwall Hospice Care, Raynet, Liskeard Girl Guides, Dobwalls FC and Pensilva Primary School.
A presentation of the cheques to the recipients was made by Mark Andrews, chairman of the Harriers, and Rob Pick, the Marathon Race Director.
The Cornish Marathon is a local event that brings many local organisations together and their support for the race is really appreciated.
At all times East Cornwall Harriers welcomes new runners of all ages to their friendly club based at Lux Park.
