LOOE Sailing Club's amazing achievement in finishing runner-up to the Olympics in Yachts & Yachting's 'Event of the Year' competition was celebrated at the Buller Street club last Friday evening.

Highlight of the evening came when master craftsman and trophy designer Richard Vasey, accompanied by his wife, Tina, presented an engraved stainless steel yacht trophy to Dominic Lozynski, president of the club, to acknowledge Looe's unprecedented achievement.
