CALLINGTON Town have declared this season as the best in the club's history, after picking up no less than five trophies during the 2013-14 campaign. The flurry of silverware began with the ladies' side clinching the Cornwall FA Women's Cup, after beating local rivals Dobwalls, 3-0, in the final. This was followed a few weeks later by the first team winning the Durning Lawrence Charity Cup, after scoring an extra-time winner to see off Dobwalls in the showdown. Next to get in on the celebrations were Callington's third string, who claimed the J J Jones Builders Duchy League Division Three title after narrowly piping North Hill to top spot. Just days later, the first team overcame Truro City in a midweek fixture to gain promotion to the Carlsberg South West Peninsula Premier as Division One West champions.
