WITH the Redwing fleet taking part in their National Championships in Plérin sur Mer, France, a depleted fleet of 17 boats took to the water in Looe Bay last Saturday.
Battling a fickle north-westerly wind, the closest racing came in the Enterprise class, with the lead changing hands throughout.
Approaching the penultimate mark, it was touch-and-go between Steve Sargent and Keira Sylvester, Francis Marshall and Austin Rudd and the Jackman brothers, David and Chris. On rounding the last mark, though, it was the Jackmans who came through to take the honours on the line.
