The Men’s County winter competitions continued with Launceston Golf Club playing at Bowood Golf Club against Treloy.
There were good wins for Mark Fear and Steve Turner, Derek Basford and Ernie Best, Mark Cowling and Derek Medland and Martin Polatch and Gareth Kendall and a narrow loss on the last for Denis Scorey and John Rumbold gave the club an excellent win by 4 to 1.
The round 2 draw has put Launceston against Truro giving a chance for revenge for the defeat in the Wills Salver.
