Golfing legend Peter Alliss will be at St Mellion on Friday to greet golfers as they go out for the Golf Day which is part of the club’s 40th anniversary celebrations and will be raising money for charity.

This is followed by An Evening with Peter Alliss in which he will relay some golfing anecdotes of his time as a top class golfer, his 40-years as the Voice of Golf and a few memories from his visits to St Mellion.

Peter’s first of many visits to St Mellion was in the late 1980s when the Bond Brothers had the vision to contact Jack Nicklaus, and asked him to design a world class golf course which was officially opened.
