This year’s Cornish marathon was fully subscribed weeks before the start. Regarded as one of the UK’s toughest marathons it attracts runners from all over the country who want to test themselves as well as all the local club runners.

The weather was not kind this year with rain and a blustery wind that debilitated the runners from 16 Cornish Clubs and from 37 clubs outside the Duchy.
