ON a glorious day, a large fleet slowly made their out to Looe Bay last Saturday, more in hope than expectation. After postponing for an hour, the race committee finally conceded that it was impossible to set a proper course, with no consistent breeze, and all the crews were forced back to shore. Members enjoyed more success on Thursday even-ing and, despite only light breezes, racing was possible. The Lasers fleet saw a new winner, with Callum Dingle triumphing after a good scrap with Eddie Johns.
