Cornwall gained revenge on their Plymouth and District Snooker League counterparts at the Belgrave Club, Plymouth, last Saturday following last year's heavy defeat in the annual friendly encounter.
The under-18s lost, 6-4, but the result was a success as it was a totally new team of youngsters now that the older players have moved on to pastures new.
The team, with the youngest member being just 14, handed the competition well and were a credit to the County.
