For the second Cup tie in a row, Dobwalls came out on top by winning a penalty shoot-out.

Torpoint started the game brightly and were unlucky not to score in the opening minutes when player-manager Mandi McCann struck the crossbar from close range.

A fantastic diving save from Faye Hankinson kept out another effort by Jade Beynon, who ran half the length of the field before sending in a fierce shot that the goalkeeper tipped over the crossbar.

Torpoint eventually took the lead when a hotly-disputed foul on Kirsty Lambert ended with Helen Kingscott firing home an unstoppable free-kick from a narrow angle.
