A YOUNG swimmer has been congratulated by his club after a brilliant performance at Plymouth Amateur Swimming Association’s (ASA) gala.
Matt Clowes, who is a member of Caradon Swimming Club, was named as top Disability Swimmer 2015, and was presented with a trophy at the City of Plymouth ASA Lord Mayor’s Awards ceremony.
The accolade comes during a successful season for the 15-year-old Looe Community Academy student; Matt came away from the South West Para Championships in October with two golds and a bronze medal, having set new personal best times.
