YOUNG artists from across the region have been putting their creative talents to the test since the beginning of the Easter holidays. An art competition organised by Bradleys Estate Agents has had youngsters from the age of two taking part. The winners were announced at the end of last week when, at the Liskeard branch, three children were recognised for their efforts. Seven-year-old Jacob Ferguson won the overall competition with Luke Stockwell (six) and Bronte Clarke (five) runners-up. Debbie Gergory, PR manager for Bradleys, said: 'I would like to thank all the children who have taken part in our colouring competition. 'My colleagues and I have all been amazed by the pictures we have received, both in terms of the numbers of entries and the quality of the artwork. 'It would seem that all the youngsters who took part really enjoyed the challenge and there are obviously many budding artists out there.' The manager of each of the 43 Bradleys offices throughout Cornwall, Devon and Somerset was tasked with choosing their own local winner and all the pictures were then judged by the area director to find the winner for each region. Each regional winner was presented with a chocolate bear and a boxed art set to continue their artistic creations.
