Pensilva U-15 played Saltash Youth for the third time this season and cruised to an emphatic DJM U-15 Defiance 11-2 victory.

Mike Ruark and Mark Long played outstanding upfront with Mike scoring five and Mark scoring the flukiest goal seen in a long time, casually raising his boot the ball bounced off his heel and lobbed the goalkeeper!

Luke Noel-Johnson and Alex Lindsey stole the show in midfield, once again Alex Lindsey's tricks were on display as the opponents sat bamboozled while he ran them ragged and got a goal himself. Luke back to his best almost made me feel sorry for the players whose job it was to mark him, as he tore them apart with every touch of the ball. His effort paid off and he got a hatrick.

The defence without injured Alan Stidwell played solidly with Doug Lloyd cleaning up and halting any rare Saltash attack.

Others including James Martin, Paul Caers, Chris Shrubshore, Lee Greenway, Alex Martin (who scored) and goalkeeper Stuart Ralph all turned in good performances in an easy win.

Extra credit though should go to Michael Ruark and the man of the match Luke Noel-Johnson who stood out above the rest.
