WINDSURFERS of all levels, and from all over the South West, are taking part in a three-day windsurfing course this weekend
at Siblyback Lake, on the edge of Bodmin Moor above Liskeard.
Using top new Tushingham kit, they aim to gain their Royal Yachting Association qualification and today they will be rising
to a series of challenges in order to raise money for Cancer Research.
Sarah Sedgeman, a keen member windsurfer at Siblyback – where former England No.1 Penny Way, the sport's first UK windsurfing Olympian, learned to boardsail – took up the challenge shortly after discovering her father had been diagnosed with cancer.
She aims to raise £1,000 for the charity.
See this week's Cornish Times for more on this.
