THE much-looked-forward-to Liskeard Lions panto will take to the stage tomorrow.

An annual good laugh for the local community and district, this year’s production – the 21st – is set to be another rib-tickler sure to cheer everyone up through the winter gloom.

This year’s panto is a mash-up of Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Pigs with the common theme of the ‘big bad wolf’ and will take to the stage at the Public Hall from Thursday to Saturday, January 28-30.

All performances will begin at 7.30pm and the doors on each night will open at 6.30pm.

Senior citizens will be admitted free of charge on the Thursday and Friday nights but must still get a ticket from the tourist information centre, in Pike Street. Other members of the public can buy their tickets from the centre if there are any available for those two evenings.

The Saturday performance will be available to all but the organisers say it is advisable to book rather than take a chance on the door.
