With just under two weeks to go, preparations for this year’s annual Saltash Regatta and Waterside Festival are nearing completion for another packed weekend of fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Awarded the best ‘family event’ by Primary Times in 2018, the two-day event, on June 22 and 23, has become a firm fixture in the Saltash calendar, attracting locals and tourists alike.

Joining the usual mix of live music, entertainment, a waterside market of food and craft stalls, will be a special guest visit by Cornwall Pride on Saturday, as they continue their tour of the county. Water-based entertainment includes the wild swim across the Tamar and the Five-Town Challenge involving kayaks, town councillors and water.
