This year's Downderry Raft Race has been hailed 'the best one' by organisers, despite gloomy weather in the run-up to the event.
The rain held off for the race itself, which took place on Sunday evening with around 1,000 people turning out to support the annual mayhem.
There was also a 'fantastic' community spirit at the Downderry and Seaton carnival, with hundreds taking part in a week of fun.
