A village play area has been closed after vandals damaged the equipment.

The Horizon play area in St Cleer has been fenced off this week after 'hundreds of pounds worth' of damage was done to the apparatus.

Clive Sargeant, chairman of the property and management committee of St Cleer Parish Council, said the damage is becoming a regular occurrence and that it was 'frustrating' for councillors.
