Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity is encouraging you to ‘Wear It Purple’ and donate £1 on Thursday, November 17 aid of pancreatic cancer care and research.
Money raised will go to improving research of pancreatic cancer for patients at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.
Vivienne Tickle, clinical nurse specialist for pancreatic cancer, said: ’A cancer diagnosis is understandably devastating, but particularly so for pancreatic cancer, due to the poor prognostic factors.
’It would be great if you could help us and ‘Wear It Purple’ to raise money and most importantly, awareness of this disease. November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and we are encouraging you to get involved and spread the word.’
