Emotional tributes were paid to a Torpoint soldier killed in Afghanistan at his funeral this week. Hundreds of people attended the service for 20-year-old Samuel John Bassett, who died on Remembrance Sunday. There was standing room only as family, friends, serving personnel, veterans and members of the public joined together to say goodbye to the young Rifleman.
