Sunshine and showers were in store as 27 walkers set out from St Cleer to mark the fourth anniversary of the Caradon Trail.

The 17-mile trail was launched in 2013 to connect Liskeard with the moorland villages, and takes in parts of the Cornish Mining World Heritage site.

The Caradon Trail route can be broken down into smaller sections.

Participants in the anniversary hike covered six miles, passing through Minions and the former mines at Gonamena and South Caradon, and stopping at the Neolithic burial chamber at Trethevy Quoit.

Donations to the Liskeard and District Museum were welcomed by walk leader Brian Oldham.
