A TOY bear has been causing a buzz in Cornwall.

To be more precise, Buzz the Bear has been causing a buzz.

Buzz, the mascot of Pool Academy in the west of the county, is in the news because he has been taken down a Cornish mine, the Blue Mine which is part of the Tresavean Mining Sett.

Primary schoolchildren suggested Buzz should go underground after hearing about him being sent up high in the atmosphere last year.
