Features in Liskeard town centre have been wrapped in wool to welcome this year’s 3 Bags Full Wool Market and some woolly workshops.
There is a riot of colour on posts and railings all over the Parade, including circular mandalas on the pillars in front of the Cornish Times building.
The Parade will be ‘yarn bombed’ until October 22.
Many shops and cafes will also be including woolly creations in their windows in time for St Matthew’s Fair.
The 3 Bags Full Wool Market will be held on Friday, October 6, from 4pm to 8pm in Liskeard Public Hall and will feature stalls selling all sorts of woolly supplies, with food, piano music and a children’s craft corner.
The woolly workshops take place from October 9 to 20 at the Liskerrett Community Centre.
Workshop subjects include brioche knitting to Shetland shawls, easy crochet to Christmas decorations and weaving without a loom.
Tickets are available from Liskeard Tourist Information Centre.
There are also full details, including the list of stallholders and all the workshops, at www.3bagsfull.org
