A TOWN Forum wants to find out how groups and businesses have been faring as they look to coming out of lockdown and beyond.
The Liskeard Town Forum is asking for people’s views and experiences ahead of the next Forum meeting, which is set for the end of September.
’The Town Forum meets regularly each year to discuss matters of interest to the health and prosperity of our town,’ said vice chairman Alan Hartridge.
’We would like to have a short statement from various community and business groups and local people on how you have been coping recently, and what you hope for the future for our historic market town. We then hope to publicise some of the responses in the Cornish Times prior to the next meeting.’
The Forum is looking for short replies of around a sentence each to the following points:
1. The main impact of the pandemic and lockdown on your life or your community work or business.
2. How you envisage this might change with any future initiatives/objectives that you are considering or actually carrying out.
3. Any humorous comment /event or witty opinion that you can share with the local Liskeard community.
Responses should be sent to [email protected] by August 7, accompanied by name, title if applicable and name of organisation.
