Summer would have appeared to have had its last gasp but despite the blustery weather of the last few days, I cannot help but think that a token of more clement times still greets locals and visitors alike in Looe.  Despite the often miserable conditions this summer, the volunteers of Looe in Bloom have yet again made Looe into a wonderful display of horticultural plenty!  The flower-filled boats on the roads into Looe are still looking lovely as are the displays along Station Road, in the garden by St Nicholas Church and the many other spots that these wonderful people tend.  Hats off and three cheers for them for the marvellous job they do!   Tim Alsop Looe
