IN answer to the letter of the week in the Cornish Times last week, headlined Speed limit would be ridiculous, I would like to invite Mr Mike Jackman to take a walk from Nomansland Estate to Bindown Stores. I can assure you it is an unnerving walk. We have to walk this road to catch buses for school, Looe and Plymouth. The buses don't come into our estate and to cross the road is a nightmare. It is the main route into Looe for lorries, buses and holiday trade. Ask the people who have lost their loved ones what they would prefer? I applaud county councillor Armond Toms and St Martin Parish Council who are backing him. Also the parish plan for St Martin and Morval comes up with the majority of people wanting speed restrictions.
