As members of the Looe Community Choir which recently performed the Vivaldi Gloria at Looe and Polperro, we would like publicly to express our thanks and appreciation to Looe Community School Head of Music, Katrina Geraghty, whose inspiration it was to bring together a group of local people of widely differing ages to perform this wonderful piece of music.
This was, in the true sense of the word, a community choir, with experienced musicians singing alongside 10 year olds from Looe County Primary School.
We are sure that every member of the choir and of the two audiences benefited from Katrina'a energy and enthusiasm. It has been a wonderfully enjoyable experience.
Looe Community School and the people of Looe will be rightfully proud of Katrina Geraghty's achievements.
