On November 9, 2009, my husband was taken ill at my son's house in Liskeard. He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. It was found he had suffered a massive stroke and he passed away on November 20.

My family and I would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff in the emergency department on the night of November 9. I cannot fault the staff on Burrator Ward. They not only looked after my husband but had time for the family. They were always cheerful and kept us all informed of everything that was happening. God bless you all.
