Torpoint Athletic secured the J J Jones Builders Duchy League Premier Division championship with a 4-0 victory at Foxhole Stars on Wednesday night.

The Tamarsiders ensured they only needed a point against the Foxes, after hitting seven goals without reply against St Columb Major on Saturday.

They found it tough going in the first half, and it took them 41 minutes to break the deadlock but the goals flowed after the break.
