“PLEASE, please, can people stop chucking rubbish out of their car windows. It’s selfish – and really shows something about the person you are.”
This is the straightforward message from a young woman living between Looe and Polperro who found a bottle of urine among the many bottles, cans and other rubbish left on just a short stretch of the main road.
Jas Gregory, 21, says that if her message stops even one person from littering she’ll be happy.
“All of this rubbish is from one mile of the Polperro Road and the little one-way road,” she said.
“Please stop, we have better things to be doing than clearing up after selfish individuals. And to the person who weed in the bottle and threw it away – you are gross.”
Jas, a third year veterinary student at Royal Veterinary College, says she and her mum Julie go out for regular litter picks in their area.
