A play at the Sterts Theatre staged by local directors and actors has been potponed due ot one of the cast members testing positive for Covid-19.
Poltroon, written by Simon Parker and directed by Ellie McFarlane, had been due to be on this week until Saturday.
The show organisers said: "We are very sad to announce that due to a positive Covid test within the cast, Poltroon has been postponed until September. The cast member in question is isolating, as are all others involved.
"Fortunately they were in a company bubble and this does not affect the Sterts team or Sterts volunteers, as they operated independently whilst on site for rehearsals."
Tickets are being carried over to the equivalent show in September, but anyone who can’t make the new date will be refunded.
"A further message will be posted on social media and the Sterts website in due course."
