A rising star from Torpoint has made her television debut on a show that could land her the title of Britain's Next Top Model.

Charlotte Holmes, 21, was selected from thousands of young hopefuls to appear on Monday night's show, along with 24 other contestants.

After battling it out at a beauty academy, supermodel host Elle Macpherson whittled the girls down to 14 finalists – and Charlotte made the cut.
