A farm near Liskeard is claiming to have the prettiest solar panel site in the region.

Kate and Andrew Jackson, from Trethawle Farm, said: ‘We think we have the best-looking solar panels in the South West.

‘They were put in the spring to maximise our Western Power connection and sit at the base of our wind turbine, so when it is not windy in summer, we are still able to generate electricity.

‘We planted them with various wild flower mixes to add to biodiversity and make use of the ground between the panels.’
