Snow was seen falling in Fore Street, Liskeard, today… as traders tested out snow machines that will be running tomorrow.
Liskeard Traders Association has been given two snow machines by businessman Ross Bunyard.
The machines will be running twice tomorrow (Saturday) - in the morning from around 11 o’clock and then in the evening when the Liskeard Lights Up parade takes place.
Music will be played out as the snow falls to give a truly festive atmosphere in the street which this year also has extra Christmas lights.
The machines will be operating above the Ham & Huddy shop. If, for any reason, there’s no snow falling between 11am and 1pm, children and their parents are invited to speak to association member Maureen Smith in the shop and she will try to arrange for flurries to fall.
Maureen said: ‘We want to say a big thank you to Ross, of Castle Air, for giving us the machines which we will be able to use each year.’
