Legends of the shark angling world are being celebrated at en exhibition in Looe this coming week.

Photographs, stories and memorabilia from some of the sport’s leading names and their association with Looe will feature in the display at the Old Sardine Factory Heritage Centre.

Among those who were interviewed for the archive are 95 year old British Ladies record holder Pat Smith, as well as her skipper on board the Lady Betty at the time she caught her world-beating Porbeagle, Alan Dingle, who is now 91.

The exhibition is running until Friday at the centre on West Looe quayside.
