A serious road traffic accident closed the A38 both ways between Landrake and Tideford on Tuesday afternoon.

Reports said there was queueing traffic due to the incident between B3249 and B3271.

Road closures were extended and AA Roadwatch reported that local diversions were in place, affecting traffic travelling between Liskeard and Saltash.
