NEW discoveries of settlements from thousands of years ago have been made at locations in South East Cornwall thanks to this summer’s heatwave.
Using aerial photography, Historic England experts have identified a probable Iron Age round at St Ive, near Liskeard, and a prehistoric settlement at Lansallos, near Polperro.
The secret settlements have been revealed through crop marks on farmland.
