More than 35 Cornish Pilot Gigs and an estimated 1,000 rowers, supporters and spectators descended on Cawsand Beach last weekend as the Rame Pilot Gig Club held the final Tribute Challenge Cup event of the summer season.

The last of the three Tribute events, hosted by the Rame club in the 'Twinsands' villages of Cawsand and Kingsand, saw Pilot Gig rowers from Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall battling for vital points.
