Art, music, competitions, craft demonstrations and other entertainment will take over Saltash’s Fore Street for two days in August, helping to support the vibrancy of the town centre and its many businesses.

The Saltash Festival of Arts is returning for a third year on Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27, and many shops in Fore Street and Lower Fore Street will be taking part.

There will be a wide variety of art, crafts and artists at work on display in shops, ranging from photography to work by local artists.

You can also try your hand at woodworking, and look at samples of other woodworkers, as well as seeing how to make lace, learn how patchwork is created, or finding out how to weave or screen print.

There’s still a chance to pick up this week’s Cornish Times today for a full timetable for the event.
