A RUNNER from Callington is recovering after taking part in the London Marathon. Mother-of-three Nancy Cavey, who lives at Rosemullion Gardens, completed the full 26-mile race in five hours and 20 minutes, although she will not know which position she finished in until the details are confirmed by marathon organisers. It was Nancy's first full marathon, although she did take part in a half marathon prior to London. Nancy ran in the marathon for Cancer Care a national charity designed to help cancer sufferers. Her aunt died four years ago from the disease, and she was keen to raise money for the charity. Money was even collected by Nancy's dad in Peterborough. Nancy, 33, started serious training for the marathon back in December. A cleaner at Duchy College, Nancy ran the Plymouth half marathon last year, raising £469, and was hoping to raise another £600 on Sunday. Nancy is married to Tony has two sons and a daughter, Stuart (15), Donna (13) and Craig (12).
